It is night. She is inside the house. The lights are on. The people are there.  So many. All dressed in black. She weaves through them. She dodges around them.  They reach out to her. They smile. Sad, tired smiles.  As if they have seen more than their years suggest.  She does not want to see any of them.  She is looking for one face. That face is not here.  Finally she is out of the room.  Walking through piles of clothes, dirty, worn, yet still colorful, she opens another door.  To the outside.  It is a deck. So Close, And Yet So Far

Who said that?? I should probably know, but I don't.
Anyways, it's almost the end of May, which means it's almost June, which means it's almost summer time and no school!!! OMG YES!!! I CANNOT wait!!!
And since today's Memorial Day [Observed], it's only a four day week, which is awesome!
**sigh**
again, so close, yet so far.
